An attempt to break the Indian mentality which beliefs that the sons will only take care of parents has been made by showing how a girl is willing to give up on relations if need be. Brings out the adjusting, sacrificing and multi-tasking abilities of a woman to run the family.
A brilliant topic considering the increased number of working couples facing similar situation with respect to aging parents. Contrasting opinions of generations (Girl and Father) brings added spice to the story.
The consignment which comes from vendor (Shoojit Sircar) known for "Vicky Donor" and "Madras Cafe" should be expected to be a good package with the Big Names of Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan, Deepika Padukone.
The movie can be assumed to take the Indian Cinema in upward direction rather than taking it down.
